No. The QR codes generated by LensText are 'static'. This means your destination URL or text is mathematically encoded directly into the pattern of the squares. As long as the destination website exists, the QR code will work forever. We do not impose scan limits or expiration dates.
Why isn't my QR code scanning?
The most common issue is a lack of contrast. Ensure your foreground color (the pattern) is significantly darker than your background color. Additionally, if you uploaded a very large logo, it may be covering too much of the data pattern. Try increasing the Error Correction level to 'High' to compensate for the covered area.
Can I track how many people scan these codes?
Because our static QR codes link directly to your destination without passing through an intermediary server, we cannot track scans. If you need robust analytics (location, device type, scan count), we recommend passing your URL through a dedicated analytics shortener (like Bitly or UTM parameters) before generating the QR code.
